Useful language, practised in familiar situations.

Teachers need language they can put to work. We propose practical activities built around everyday teaching situations, with content adapted to participants’ starting points and goals.

01

Clear classroom instructions

Practise explaining a task, organising group work and checking that learners know what to do.

02

Questions and feedback

Develop useful language for inviting responses, clarifying ideas and giving constructive feedback.

03

Professional communication

Build confidence in everyday conversations and short written messages with colleagues and families.

What the project could include

Activities would be shaped with teachers and adapted to local needs.

01

Classroom role-play

Practise short teaching exchanges in a supportive setting, with time to repeat and refine.

02

Phrase-bank building

Create a personal collection of useful phrases for recurring classroom situations.

03

Peer speaking practice

Work through practical scenarios and give respectful feedback on clarity and understanding.

These are proposals for discussion. Funding, partners, trainers, locations, dates and participant arrangements are not confirmed. Any delivery would depend on needs assessment, resources and appropriate safeguarding.

How we would review its usefulness

Listening and practical feedback would guide the next steps.

01

Clearer communication

Use short practical tasks to reflect on how well a message can be understood.

02

Relevant language choices

Review whether phrase banks and practice activities match teachers’ actual needs.

03

Confidence and next steps

Invite self-reflection on what feels easier and what needs more practice, without promising fluency.
