Our Responsibility

Awareness into action. Better habits for a healthier community.

For children, families, teachers and everyone who wants to care for our shared surroundings.

Water conservation, recycling and green plants representing environmental action
Seeking funding and delivery partners · Activities subject to funding

A cleaner community starts with everyday choices.

We aim to make environmental awareness practical and relevant to daily life, helping participants understand their choices and take feasible action at home, in learning settings and across their community.

Reduce waste

Choose reusable items and reduce unnecessary disposable plastic.

Save water

Recognise everyday opportunities to use water more carefully.

Use energy wisely

Build feasible habits that reduce unnecessary energy use.

Care for shared spaces

Encourage collective responsibility for clean and welcoming surroundings.

Our objectives

01

Build understanding

Increase knowledge of everyday waste, water and energy choices and their consequences.

02

Reduce unnecessary waste

Help participants adopt realistic ways to avoid disposable plastic and unnecessary waste.

03

Support resource-saving habits

Use demonstrations and personal action plans to encourage careful water and energy use.

04

Turn awareness into action

Enable safe community participation and follow up on practical habits adopted.

Learn it. Practise it. Share it.

Learn it

Age-appropriate awareness sessions and family learning materials.

Practise it

Demonstrations of sorting, reuse and everyday resource-saving habits.

Share it

Community activities and peer learning with suitable local partners.

Waste sorting will reflect locally available collection services. Clean-ups depend on safe arrangements, permissions and confirmed collection partners. Hazardous waste handling is outside the proposed scope. Numerical targets will be set once resources and pilot activities are confirmed.

How we will measure progress

Useful evidence will help us understand what works and improve future activities.

Knowledge gained

Compare short learning checks and demonstrations before and after activities.

Habits adopted

Follow up on participant or household action plans and reported changes.

Action documented

Record participation and activity outputs; report quantities only where measured reliably.

Project stage: Proposed project. Implementation has not started. Delivery dates, participant numbers, locations and targets will be confirmed following needs assessment, funding and partner readiness. We are not currently confirming participant places.
